Ballet Manila wins Best Dance Company Award

Ballet Manila was unanimously chosen as the Best Dance Company by the Gawad Tanglaw 2007 (Tagapuring Mga Akademisyan ng Aninong Gumagalaw) last March 1, 2008 at the University of Perpetual Help System (DALTA) Las Piñas City, Philippines.

The recognition affirms Ballet Manila’s excellent performances in venues nationwide and around the world.  Senior soloists Mylene Aggabao and Gerardo Francisco represented Ballet Manila in the ceremony held at the Ernesto Palanca Auditorium of the UPHS campus which was attended by other awardees in theatre, print, radio, film and television arts. 

Gawad Tanglaw is an award giving body composed of faculty members from selected schools, colleges and universities in Manila.
